He is just obsessed w her, and yes, he killed all of Lorena Family (he didn’t care what she loved, or who she loved, he just wanted to have her like a canary in a cage). All of the three protagonists remember their past live.
He genuinely is a selfish and horrible person. He even uses her family in the current life as a way to blackmail her to come back to him. He doesn’t take no for an answer whether it’s the past life or current life. He will not hesitate to kill people to get what he wants, even if those people are the FL’s loved ones

He’s the reason she died. She committed suicide because of him, because he made her suffer so much. If you ever read the broken ring with ines, he’s like that red haired ex husband.
