Nah, it doesn’t have to be something big like kidnapping. Once Jaeyoung finds out about Seungmin’s involvement with the drug that ruined his life, that’ll be a huge hurdle for them.

I skimmed so I may have misunderstood but he recognized the drug and knew what it did, he asked what the meds Jaeyoung took were, etc. I had interpreted the conversation as at least him helping the drugs get popular initially, based on his convo with the dealer and his internal dialogue. But if you didn’t get that vibe, then I could totally be wrong.
That and the “I’m sorry, you got hurt because of me” which I am now thinking that I mistook and he was actually probably talking about the guy who punched Jaeyoung at the start of the story lol
So yeah, I’m probably wrong. Would’ve made for an interesting plot point though lol
