The doctor lied. The wife or someone not with the same blood doesn't have to drink taran's blood to get preggos. To get pregnant, the wife needs to drink mugwort from the first time she gets her period until she "stops" menstruating(like lucia). After that, she needs to be a virgin the first time she has seggs with the Taran guy. Then if they continue having seggs for a year or two she can get pregnant.
Lucia would then show signs of being preggos but they would just think its phantom pregnancy cause they think she can't have a child. Then they would think she is sick and stuff happens then they investigate further then learn the truth.
Endgame is she gets a baby girl and they live happily ever after with damien.
I think i skipped and forgot some parts (cause i read the novel a long time ago) but that is the gist of the story(▰˘◡˘▰)
*Edit
I meant lucia would end up with hugo and they would raise damien (as their son) and their daughter together.

Pls pls pls give me spoilers ((T_T)) i hate suspense but i love this story so mich ( TДT)
Me too and I do want to read the novel too but I'm so lazy TT reading with pictures is easier for me
What exactly do you want to be spoiled? The novel has 300+ chapters, the manhwa is in the baby stages of it. How far do you want to know?
You can read the novel. Honestly the manhwa doesn't do it justice. You'll love it! You're gonna cry like never before but you'll still love every bit of it! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
noo way omg by far this manhwa is one of the best one ever.. ⊂(・▽・⊂) I heard there's lots of angst and honestly I'm not really keen of reading texts since my attention span is so low ┗( T﹏T )┛
The manhwa adaptation is pretty decent, tbh. And it is pretty close to the source.
But I agree, that the novel is top notch! Also, it is finished and translated. Side stories and all. So it's a huge plus.
Reading helps with the attention span ;)
Lol There's one truth that no one can deny. A manhwa can never compete against the novel it was adapted from. They're bound to skip some parts. Adapting every word into an image is impossible. Ofcourse manhwa has its own charm and novel has its own. Novel depends on our imagination, and the manhwa is the author's own imagination of the novel. So I'd say, READ BOTH. AT THE SAME TIME. This way you won't miss anything and you'll also be able to visualise it.
i totally agree on how a novel misses a lot of small and important details most of the time but i find it difficult to imagine stuff especially in this case, it's fantasy which has a lot of fighting scenes and powers and stuff! i do read novels and other books but i just find it difficult and right now I'm currently in a reading slump Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I will definitely check out the novel tho once I have enough time to finish it in one go.. or else I'll just leave it alone forever ┗( T﹏T )┛
Aw..its okay! You don't have to if it's too hard. I was like you once, reading a bunch of texts wasn't it for me. But then i inhaled enough material to boost my imagination. Now i can read novels just fine. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
noo ill definitely check it out.. im a sucker for more stories and details thank you though ><
Mhm~ (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
