This is a MASTERPIECE!!!!!
First of all, I've read many stories, but this one truly captured my heart and emotions. To be honest, I don’t even know what to say — it left me completely speechless. It was so amazing that I even found myself wishing for an ending where spoiler there might be a possibility of them having a child, or maybe adopting one.
Still, I was content with the ending, knowing the reasons and circumstances they both had. The FL really grew a lot — from someone who was oblivious because of her sheltered upbringing to a person who strived to become better by opening her eyes and mind to the world around her.
As for the ML, at first, I honestly thought he was just another bastard who deserved to be beaten. But after learning what he had been through, everything started to make sense. Still, that doesn’t excuse him from being a foolish husband who hurt his wife — but he paid for his mistakes multiple times, and I think that was enough for him to finally realize everything. He became the embodiment of the saying: “If you truly love someone, you’ll strive to become a better person deserving of their love.”
This isn’t a fairytale — it could be someone’s real story. It shows how war leaves behind many sad endings, even for those who “win,” because the lives lost can never be brought back, and the world can never be the same for those affected.
I still have so many thoughts about this story, but I can’t seem to convey them all properly. If you happen to stumble upon this story as I did, I truly hope you’ll love it too — because this story deserves to be seen.
