I'm not referring to yaoi specifically but to shows, books, movies etc. That's literally half of the fun? Trying to figure out the plot and what's gonna happen etc.

Let people enjoy the things they like. No one is being harmed or anything of that sort.

Babes my point is most people that are new to yaoi assume the worst and aren’t used to the constant clichés so they can only assume the worst. For example, most people here have forgotten the plot of K’s secret and therefore they most likely forgot the characters’ personalities. Like Mr. Kang and the fact that every sexual situation he’s had with MC have been consensual to the T. No one is being harmed, but it is not that hard to think “Well would this character really do this?” Based off of the actions they’ve portrayed in the story canonically. If they don’t, that would be considered a plot twist. No where in that paragraph did I say they cannot enjoy reading manga. That is what this website is for. I do not like how rape is constantly being brought up even in a story that doesn’t involve any rape at all. I would prefer it if this same energy was projected on stories that actually have rape and not on “what if” scenarios. Thank you for taking time to read this and being nice about it all.

Yeah I totally get what you mean but still the whole thing felt off. From what I've seen he doesn't actually do anything which is lovely but we still have the right to be kinda concerned. And you are right I personally don't remember everything either so the scene caught me off guard. It happens when you read a manga weekly. You lose the flow for sure. I can't wait for this to finish so I can re read it x

Ib general you never know with yaoi unfortunately. I've seen so many awful plots in my days, it's quite sad lol. People can act radically at times. So until the manga is finished I'm always on my toes. Just to be safe!
