Read the Season 2 preview again. You can see MC bleeding and unconscious under water (didn’t happen so far)and also ML going to war (most likely around that time). ML is also wearing the same war outfit as we saw in the last panel of the newest chapter (the bow he got shot with is also still there) - All foreshadowing
I'll be skimming/skipping chapters until they figure shit out. My sanity cannot take this
