For something that had a vanilla premise, which turned complex as the story progressed, the epilogue was perfect despite being simple. Our MC (Phos) had been through enough, and finally breaking down to their last piece to conjoin with a comet and travel the stars is a perfect ending considering all they've been through.

For something that started with a simple premise, turning complex, and ending with a light-hearted epilogue, it was perfect. 10/10, would read again if only it didn't mentally break me everytime.
Spoiler ahead:
So I read the raws and apparently Kaye's body gets overtaken by the demon lord in her and this Madeleine girl used to be the demon lord's old lover(?) and there was one panel where she and Kaye were about to kiss.
Reminder that the demon lord is still in Kaye's body. A child. Who goes to school. AND MADELEINE IS IDFK HOW MANY YEARS OLD-
GET THIS CRUSTY FOSSIL AWAY FROM KAYE
Imma be honest here, the mc is just straight up depressed and miserable, and the ml is just straight up psychopathic and murderous.

I've read it, and in my opinion people can read this however they like. Whether it be bl or just normal bromance between peers. One of the characters are even canonically pansexual since they said they didn't mind going after men or women so long as they had a cute personality. So my advice here is just read for your own enjoyment. And please, don't start fights or debates with others on how the manga should be tagged and just enjoy it. It's a win-win situation for everyone that way.
