They aren't deleted you'll get them back.
don't worry, ppl whose acc were made in 2014 and 2015, as in earlier years, slowly got their reads back.
Currently 2017 ppl are getting it back.

Ok…thank you…I haven’t been able to read my updates for a day now which has put me a bit on edge but this helps a bit…hopefully I’ll wake up to my lists tomorrow
I heard that people who had rated their updates with stars got notifications but I'm not sure since I didn't get any, but yeah you'll get them back soon!!
