Ok first of all, I was never trying to "downplay" any victims. I'm just trying to say that they have different terms because they have different penalties. Second of all, I said that sodomy and rape were different because they have different charges. In court, sodomy will always have a higher punishment because the anus was never designed to be used as a sexual device. People just made it that way. Nothing was ever supposed to go up, only down, which means more pain with the penetration. This makes it higher than rape with a therefore harsher punishment. Third, sodomy is more complex than you would know, it has multiple definitions in different states. It has many different definitions, which include penis to anus without consent, as well as what you define it as. Fourth, mouth also has a different term because, again different punishment. Its oral copulation. And when using something other than a penis, its penetration with a foreign object. Penetration with fingers is digital penetration. They all have different meaning and punishment which is why it's not all the same. And fifth please dont assume that I'm uneducated because as far as I can tell I'm more educated than you. aand don't tell me to "research" before posting "stupid, unnecessary, uneducational" comments.
