First of all, the story does NOT romantize all the behaviors of the ML that hurt the MC, it clearly showed that the ML continued to live a selfish and detached life until he REALLY fell in love with the MC, he did not cheat on the MC (with the threesome for example, I liked that scene haha), and I think people are hating a little too much on people who have casual sex often. He did have a negative view on relationships and had sex with many people casually, but in real life if people consent and are not violating a boundary of exclusivity with someone else, then people here are really just slut-shaming in the comments. The story explored how having different approaches to a relationship and not communicating can affect people, yes the ML is older and violated some moral codes being a professional, but when they were older he didn't try to manipulate a high schooler, yes he left being an asshole and even forgot about it but at some point when they were older the ML asked the MC if there was a really bad past experience the MC had before and he did hay "no",he didn't get traumatized from that although it was awful. As adults the ML wasn't honest but he repented and changed, for me the story is worth it just to see them working on their issues (the ML even encourages the MC to stop being a pushover), so I liked the ending.

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to read this story: The male lead (black hair guy) is very forceful during the sex scenes, and during one scene specifically he literally says that the main character saying "no" to him turns him on, so the story can be uncomfortable specially during the sex scenes. It seems that the main character "enjoys" these moments but it's still very non-consensual during most of the early story. Other than that the story is okay, it would have been more interesting if the author explored more how the physical appearance for relationships, and the rejection to someone who is not deemed a tractive, can affect people, it's brushed off just because the main lead grew after high school and now he is very handsome and hot. But I felt that it was very rushed in order to have the main characters in a relationship. I wouldn't read this story it again.

Really wanted to live this manhwa but at the end I kept thinking: "But what had Seohyun done for Hyowon since they first met?" He just received and received all the attention and care from Hyowon, but was there a reason for Hyowon to fall in love with Seohyun if he barely showed interest in him? I think the author should have developed better their relationship and chemistry so it didn't feel that one-sided from Hyowon's side. Yeah they were happy at the end and Seohyun demonstrated more his love, but I still feel something is lacking at the start, maybe the original idea of them not liking each other and slowly falling in love (slow burn) would have been better. Still, it was nice seeing how the main character was able to stand up for himself and regain self confidence again, it must be very difficult to get out of a really toxic relationship, that part of the story was really interesting, but I would not read it again. And just remembered but there was a little of non-con during the first times the main characters had sex, which is just brushed off, because the MC clearly doesn't agree to it but follows through anyways, without a clear reason? I think that's strange and adds to my point of the disinterest from Seohyun, and I can't ignore how Hyowon takes advantage of those situations just because Seohyun doesn't say no.
