The plot is absolutely majestic! A first to combine derective narration with a historical setting in a newly industrialized past. They managed to keep me on my toes because it's so refreshing to a point of almost unpredictable. But like any good story, you get engrossed in it and could envision what would happen next.
Plus, the ML and FL was not magically in love upon a first sight!!! I actually dislike the ML in the beginning but now in ch. 19, I'm rooting for them hard!! This is PEAK SLOWBURN. YEARNING HAS BEEN BROUGHT BACK. I REPEAT: YEARNING IS SO BACK
