Chapter 20, the “prophet” guy brutalizes a woman at the end and tells her that her role now is to play the “wh*re” for the men to relieve themselves with. So this part of the story is actually the most disturbing and disgusting for me, whereas the other stories were just crazy!

True. The prophet is a bastard. His behaviour didn't really surprise me, after the way they introduced his character. This is something I an actually see happening with some of the religious leaders we have today, if this ever happened in real life.

I didn't notice his eyes change colour! I'll keep an eye out for that from now on. It would be a very interesting twist if he turns out to be a demon or the devil. He also prays to God when he's committing sinful acts and does something I'll assume is penance in his opinion. So I felt he's a psycho human. I didn't consider him being a creature from hell. I also want to find out the source of his prophetic power, and if it's real. I also want to find out what exactly the child with his "Mary" is for. So many questions!

Also, those are grown women with their own sexual desires wanting to be met so they are definitely doing it consensually too. the ones who are/were being raped are Maria and the women living with the prophet because he’s manipulating them into letting him have his way with them. This is just my opinion but if they are in public using their quirks then it would be endangering the public. I kind of think of it as for example someone has a gun and for self defense the other person pulls out their gun. Also by law it would count as self defense but what happens if you were in a country that doesn’t consider it as self defense.
You can also think about it as you are driving a car without your license. I think this is a similar example
For the driving example, think about this if your mom is injured and needs to do to the hospital but your phone is dead but you only have your G1 so you cannot drive on the highway yet but you want to help your mom.
