I think because this ‘manhwa’ is originally a manga, they’ve cut it into shorts sections for the korean version, just so that could extend the chapters. the original japanese manga would be more fleshed out if you get what i mean

Ok so I found the spoiler written by a Korean reader and have translated it.

My thoughts while reading:

Ah, I enjoyed reading this so much.

In the early and middle parts, the male lead’s mysterious and dangerous charm was portrayed so well.
And the intimate scenes… they were so satisfying Maybe because it’s written from the female lead’s perspective, I found myself empathizing, like, even though you know it’s dangerous, you can’t help but be drawn in…
The way he matched her to his dominant tastes — tying her up, teasing her with toys until she was desperate, and only then slamming into her… damn… it was so sexy…

The intimate scenes were really to my liking.

But later, after she learns the truth, those very same nights become a source of shame for her … like, Ah, you treated me that way because I’m the daughter of your enemy. You wanted to see me humiliated. She realizes it and throws up in horror — honestly, even I felt traumatized at that point. Damn, if it were me, finding out that the man did all that because he hated me… that’s just unbearably shameful…

The later parts:

I really liked how, in the latter half, the female lead becomes completely detached.

Her family is destroyed, her parents die, and she barely scrapes by.
She just lives because she’s alive — she doesn’t even think of revenge, nor does she have the ability to.

So even when the male lead comes back to her, she’s cool and indifferent.
When he tries to explain himself at length, she just says:
“Oh, I understand your circumstances. I get it. That’s enough, right?”

It really felt like she had cut all ties.
Like, You no longer have any emotional power over me.
You can feel it clearly — for her, it’s truly over.
She doesn’t even give him the chance to get entangled again.

Maybe because he senses this too, the male lead ends up losing his mind by the end…
He really goes crazy…
He kidnaps her and locks her up, saying he’ll keep her by his side.
… Just writing it like this doesn’t quite convey how crazy he becomes, but he truly felt unhinged.
