Im not sure if its a manga/manhua or webtoon but the story I'm looking for is similar to Palace of Bardo in the beginning. The main character is in a toxic relationship with the emperor and, in the first timeline, he dies. However, he is sent back in time to a point before he meets the emperor and is determined to prevent history from repeating itself. The emperor belongs to a different species but still looks human.
A key aspect of the story is that certain things are considered "important hobbies." One specific thing I remember is a female character (part of the emperor's people) taking care of her sick sister, which is referred to as a "hobby."
