Everyone saying don't like don't read as if every bl is not filled with rape atp. Like okay if rape is necessity for the trope can there atleast be consequences? This story started with so much tension, good art it has so much potential I was so invested. But ofc. Lets see what consequence the author has in mind.
There’s plenty of BLs without rape, I promise. It’s a vast category and unfortunately the issue is because “rape trope trend” is a thing…the most popular BLs are filled with them, probably why many believe BL is all rape. It has a bad reputation because of big fandoms with the big stories filled with SA.
The good ones without rape are usually less known or second to the top ones (iirc).
I agree with you, valid complaint, that the tension disappeared the moment author chose a low budget route. I was so excited but I was heavily disappointed.
I am 100% certain they will end up together. As for whether there are consequences or not, maybe? What do you hope for the ML to receive in consequences?

For real... I've read over 100 high school romance manga; beautiful and healthy relationships abound. But sometimes I want to read something with a darker dynamic, so I jump into some manhwa labeled as psychological and that's all.
And nothing is wrong with wanting to read dark themed stories. We read non justifiable murder tropes and nobody makes a big fuss about others reading it, it’s part of fiction. I’d be concerned if this was in real life, but we aren’t consuming real scenarios.
I read dark stuff as well, and nobody in real life would believe I do. I have a healthy relationship with most of my friends and family, I just crave reading something like this, morbid curiosity, it does not mean I enjoy it happening.
