I see quite a few lost and just to preface im not saying you have to see my take on things. This is a very symbolic story and you have to form ur own take. Genuinely you can see it anyway you want with your own evidence and perspective. I think it tells a good story of the one sided "love" that is the 1st mcs and shows how the 2nd mc doesn't see it that way at he takes it was greed and thinking you own something that was never yours to being with; that thing being the 2nd mc. I belive the ending was him coming back on his own accord and having his own body autonomy with his own feelings and thought process, seeing the 1st mc as nothing more than another person who is blinded by his own greed and entitlement.
