The art is good. REALLY GOOD. The concept is also nice. Young handsome guy x depressed older man who lost his wife. Also them investigating the wife and other guides' murderer. The concept if interesting, gotta admit that. BUT THE EXECUTION IS FREAKING AWFUL. Even for someone like me who turn off my brain cells when reading BL manhwa, THIS IS SHIT. First of all, THEY'RE BOTH GROWN ASS MAN SO WHY ARE THEIR LINES WORSE THAN BICKERING TEENAGERS????

GOD, THE FACT THAT I LOVE THE ART SO MUCH MAKES THIS EVEN MORE FRUSTRATING. This kind of plot would've work perfectly as a slowburn. Them investigating the guide murderer, guide guy falling in love one sidedly with the older man but his mind is solely focus on the death of his wife and her murderer. THE ANGST WOULD BE SO DELICIOUS. Also him being quite suicidal (to join his wife) while the younger guy is trying to keep him alive, wanting to make him look at his way. THE DESPERATION between the two of them is like cherry on top. BUT WE HAVE THESE CHILDISH MEN INSTEAD.
Someone might say "if you don't like it, leave". I swear, I'm not the type to leave negative comments. It's just that I got my hopes up because of the beautiful art, only to be let down so much by the story. It's rare for me to be this disappointed, let me vent okay?

It seems the MC will be the bottom huh. With all the shit about to go down, I probably shouldn't say this, but ngl. MC looks so MAJESTIC I don't know if I want to fuck him or want him to fuck me. Like, seriously, that's some INSANE face card. I get why anyone would be obsessed. I grew up watching anime yet I still felt so fascinated.
