Okay so I have my dose on psychobabble stuff. Alex is so complicated and I love how the author portrayed him. Also, his end was twisted that it satisfied me.
As for Clark. I feel suffocated about his character. It's not anything negative. It's just how his character made me feel.
About his analogy about the therapist to Alex. The way he described him to be feeling guilty because he thought of him as a pet or plant...
I think it reflects how Clark sees the therapist. Like he's fond of him or something. A person he's chosen. His emotions is V complicated too. Somewhere along the chapters I also thought he's got a twisted obsession for Alex. I do relish whenever he shows a reaction on that stiff face of his.
