I was actually a bit afraid to read past ch 50 cause I knew shit was going to hit the fan. Glad I did though. I was so invested that I ended up finishing this in a day. It was short but I like it like that, there was no drag and kept me on edge the whole way through.
The plot of the story is intriguing to the point that I actually don’t care about the sex.

All I can say is wow. From all the promotions (*cough* TikTok), it just made it seem like Woojin was your typical protective alpha male trope seme. How wrong I was. Also, why does everyone resorted to violence, it's like they forgot they had a mouth that they can use to COMMUNICATE.
It's only the first 20 chap but the story has progressed like a fucking rocket. I understand the genre of toxic relationships and the idea of why people would like it (myself included). This however is just plain rape/sexual assault, toxic relationships revolve (not only) around the factor of verbal manipulation and blackmail (and of course other factors).
If toxicity is written right, it will leave you emotionally tired even as the reader but all I got out of this was just a plain old 'ah there it is, the plain rape disguised under the toxic genre that somehow will get the leads together with at the end'. Buddy, our protag here didn't even get the chance to be properly manipulated/blackmailed in any way before getting fingers shoved up his ass.
Sorry for the rant, I coincidentally read this without prior research. It kind of threw me off and I ended up vomiting this all out. T.T I'm not trying to trash the author, anyone can draw what they want, I'm just getting tired of relationships in manga/manwha depicted like this as if it's natural and basing the whole plot around it.

Can’t believe that I read 24 chapters of this crap. I saw so many red flags and continued on with desperate hope that they’d realise their toxicity.
The FL was so fucking dope in the first few chapters, no issues there but the moment she met the emperor and all other royals, everything went to waste. I was so disappointed. Like she just suddenly didn’t know how to stand up for herself, especially at the ball, she def would’ve against her knights. I know this story also focuses on the smut but it’s like that factor had over taken the entire character and relationship development. I was hoping to see like some kind of nice romance between them.
Didn’t even tried to like the prince at all, either of them. The moment he called her a creature he couldn’t understand, I was like yeaaa not a fan. Couldn’t he have just said women instead? (Might be nitpicking here but it did irked me a lil) He also wouldn’t give the FL any fucking space bruh, just went on making assumptions and going off as if she loved you after only meet u for like wot a few weeks. Even if she did, there was no reason for him to take his anger out on the FL. He knew her thought process pretty well for what I’ve read, and he still did that to her. Pretty shitty in my opinion.
Sorry, got a lil annoyed and had to rant. Other than all the shit that went down, can’t lie that FL was a fucking beauty. Just wished the ML wasn’t such an asshole being possessive/toxic af and the FL didn’t turn into the cliche high-school-girl-trapped in-a-love-triangle-Wattpad-story.
