i know this probably an incredibly unpopular opinion, but i really don't care for juheon at all. i did at first, but he never really let dohu explain anything and just jumped to conclusions then to make matters worse intentionally used his trauma against him when they were breaking up. oh then he says don't contact me again, but then shows up at dohu's house just cause he wanted some comfort, incredible hypocrisy. maybe its cause im also neurodivergent but juheon knew that dohu used to get bullied for not "having feelings" then turned it against him completely. he then pretends he met never him? so unbelievably childish. i dont understand why it feels like dohu is being punished for not having the social skills to read this traumatized neurotypical's brain. he kept telling juheon over and over that he liked him too ffs! you know he struggles to convey his emotions well but when he works up the nerve and plainly says it, its not enough anymore? also, i dont think keeping a file is all that weird? i mean he knew he was a writer and struggled to understand people which is part of why dohu started writing to begin with! its not that insane to think of why he may have done that?? i honestly hate seeing dohu basically throw himself at this man who intentionally wields his insecurities against him (which, mind you dohu HAS NEVER done to him!), who never let him explain properly, and attempted to erase his existence from his past. even tried to get dohu to QUIT his job, juheon raises my blood pressure like no other. And dohu... poor boy doesn't even understand his own feelings and lacked the social skills to navigate the fallout properly, WHICH JUHEON KNEW! boy bye. i genuinely hope something changes because i am not happy with this direction right now. I need to see juheon develop more and realize where he messed up, its been 4 years. 4 years!! he even cut off his friends that weren't even really involved with his ex at the time, wow. right now he comes across like brat, the plot with his family is weak, and his emotions come across as fake smh

That's the thing about these two. It's not just Dohu who has problem, but Juheon is also a deeply traumatized person. Due to his past, he is incredibly guarded. He puts up a front in order to protect himself. That's what drew Dohu to Juheon in the first place. It's his duality. It took Dohu a long time to break that wall, and once that happened, Dohu became his safe place. He believed Dohu came to like him without any ulterior motive, something that he never experienced or had in his life. When this turned out to be false, the very foundation of why he came to like Dohu crumbled in that instant. Could Juheon handle the situation better? Definitely. Any normal functioning person would be able to handle it better, but not Juheon. He is so disillusioned with people that his first reaction is to protect himself. Him running away, pretending not know Dohu, use Dohu's issue against him, all of this isn't meant to be used to hurt Dohu, but a mean to protect himself. As you can see yourself, Juheon always had strong reaction whenever Dohu is hurt. He doesn't like seeing Dohu hurt. Right now, he is too blinded by his need to protect himself that he doesn't realize to what extent he has hurt Dohu. I believe this will be the key to their reconciliation.
