"Murderous Lewellyn's Candlelit Dinner" and "Checkmate(TAN)".
For checkmate I recommend to read the adult ver, Soohyun is one hell of a power bottom you'll never find in any manhwa. Both of those story are quite hard to process, especially Checkmate, you need to tolerate them for a few chapters. Believe me, those are the best read ever, the storytelling is top notch, especially the lewellyn one.
I hope your ok with not pure-fluff because that’s so more my taste (tho I don’t like pure dark and unnecessary gross/unpropeely treated plot lines)
I recommend ‘Bound to Be’, ‘Moonlight’, ‘The 11th School Trip’, ‘Bad Apple’, ‘Office Hero’, ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘Bones and Petals’… You can go in blind but I’ll have a quick genre breakdown for you in case you wanna know;
Bound to be involves fantasy and dark magical animal elements, it’s main duo have past history with another and personally found the dynamic really unique!
Moonlight involves a time skip and age gap and surrounds royals. It is a good read but the relationship is not pure and innocent. It’s a darker theme.
The 11th School Trip is about monsters and powers, it’s also a nice read and the story doesn’t necessarily scream ‘romance genre first’ as there are other characters and stuff that sort of water it down making it not very romantic of a story which I found refreshing.
Bad Apple is also a darker romance between modern rich/elite and crime/spy business. I thought it was pretty funny but there are heavy elements in it that might not be the right read for you if you don’t like that stuff!
Office hero is a modern reincarnation story and it has some fantasy/spiritual elements to it. I thought it was pretty interesting and it’s pretty mental health focused story I believe.
Truth or Dare is a psychological story and I mean the title sort of explains how the universe works. If you like psychological books give it a read!
Bones and Petals is a vampire book. I really liked it even though it has darker themes the transition towards a better morally right relationship is really cute. It also has a cat in it which is really cute so if your a sucker for pet cats or like vampires give it a read!
