Literally everyone is saying that the whole misunderstanding thing is annoying and asking how can someone be so dumb - as if you’ve never jumped to conclusions before? - when you believe something to be truth it doesn’t come “that” easy to just see and believe the actual truth without having an actual moment of confrontation and then having proof.
Some people can be dense when it comes to romance, it happens. Not everyone can grasp that Serena and the duke are just friends, and this isn’t really helped when literally EVERYONE BELIEVED OTHERWISE. The gossip and seeing them so intimately close caused her to believe so too. And to actually be upfront and ask if they are in a relationship would be intimidating. She’s the type to believe she’s being nosy even if he is her fiancé, because she thinks Serena is going to be his mistress and above all the one she especially doesn’t want to anger. The FL expressed that she doesn’t want any drama, hence she’s just gonna go on a whim and assume that they are lovers.

Just imagining her reaction when they confront each other is more than enough to not hate the misundrstanding. In fact the bigger she misinterprets his actions, the more fun its going to be later. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Seriously tho. I’m surprised she’s completely denying any other logical explanation. Although I must say, I can’t wait till she realizes that he’s being trying to woo her. (๑>◡<๑)

Agree with you totally. Those misunderstandings are really amusing me tho.. instead of boring. It is also refreshing me as well. It is also kind of make sense....
When we see a boy and a girl who are not related by blood and are living together in a house, we also jump into conclusion that they might be boyfriend and girlfriend or living together... without asking them directly, right? Our FL is also thinking the same way and avoiding those two.
Another thing is... we have to be patient.. it is only chapter 18...I feel that those misunderstandings are not that dragging on that much...it is relatable since the duke is not good with expressing his feeling.
Right? I think they’re so terribly adorable! ('ω') EXACTLY! These things cannot be rushed. I find it heartwarming that he’s trying to get out of his comfort zone to make her understand and seeing him fall for her dorky cuteness is honestly the best. These misunderstandings will come to an end sometime but it’s just a comedic relief for the moment. Can’t wait to see him succeed in winning her heart though!

Do you refer to readers in some other site perhaps?

I dunno why but I have the feeling that he’s cursed - hence the scars and uncontrollable pains - perhaps it’s immortality but with endless pain and the only way to break it is if he is slain by the white dragon and the knights sword.
But even so it doesn’t justify he’s terrible decisions and actions though. Mir didn’t deserve to have her family torn from her so quickly and in such a horrid manner. ಠ_ಠ

Oooooo! That would make sense! But at the same time that would also cause us to question if he is in a way self inflicting this pain by killing others on purpose? It definitely would be such a plot twist if he knew it was and nevertheless he proceeded to do so anyway because he felt he deserved pain. Yet, his actions wouldn’t have much meaning if so, because he doesn’t seem to be truly remorseful of his previous actions, and it would also be sort of strange to be purposefully causing yourself pain if you knew the consequences of your actions. So perhaps he really doesn’t know.(;o;)
I thought so too, but that would be too easy for a curse - they tend to be more complicated - there are conditions that must be met in order for it to be broken. So perhaps, in this case it had to be a specific person. The daughter of the mighty Knight and furthermore the future queen. Just like the Empress hinted it needed to be her and her alone. After all she does have the power to see the future so perhaps she had seen that it needed to be her. Mir can be the one to end his reign of terror.
