we think yeomin cutie is doing fine because we’re reading this from the lens of a romcom but in reality he’s living such a shitty life; deadbeat father, dead mom, dirt poor, loan sharks on his ass AND on top of that he’s being treated like a sex toy by the older guy that he has a crush on…. like don’t stop at a scholarship why not give him the whole foundation
but on the other hand, creating a fraudulent scholarship program just so his little toy boy can get extra pocket money is immoral and evil but nobody ever said he was a nice guy. he’s literally a gangster.. no gangsters are nice and they definitely don’t care about scamming people
we know broke bottom x filthy rich ceo top is a common troupe but it always makes me sad when i see comments about people calling the broke character “dumb” just because they refuse to sell their body or give in to the crazy tops chasing them. i know these stories are fiction, but poverty is definitely non fiction so what exactly is the underlying meaning behind these comments?:( just because someone is broke, they should not have the rights to their own body? they should accept being taunted, humiliated and sexually abused? pride is apparently a sin if you’re poor, that’s what i’m getting
i think you said it yourself, its fiction we know poverty exists in real life but you should be able to differentiate between fiction and reality and not transpose someones thoughts in a contextual reference to a story onto a real life nuance issue that people go through. we see plenty of people who say 'i wish second ML would die' in real life we know two people can fall for the same person does that mean we want people in real life to die just because they love someone? dont take what people say under these fictional smut storys as a real life view. the context in which these comments are made are under the most ridiculous yakuza smut fics not a documentary on real life poverty
i wish there was a simpler solution like for example scrolling back to the chat the night before
