Both I guess "princesses" seem to be completely useless in terms of being responsible, hard-working and knowledgeable. Rachel in any case seems to be much worse since shes 100% dependent on other ppl. Ariel seems to be the better choice but either way Marie will be chosen. I just dont think the Crown Prince and Marie suit each other, he seems very narrow minded and irritable whilst Marie is the opposite basically.
Um okay this chapter was really unnecessary and shows how the author practically did 0 research into corsets. Corsets are in fact very comfortable and are basically (almost) better than bras in terms of support and posture and comfort. Like many other comments said only very few high-class and "odd balls" would tighten their corsets tight enough to hurt one self. I know it's just a webtoon but for people who actually know about these things it ruins the chapter and sometimes the entire story.
yes but back then corsets were so incredibly tight that there were actual cases of pain/having a hard time breathing etc, also this is just fiction so it’s fine it doesn’t have to be historically correct

don't apologize, you're 100% correct, also historically correct, there may be function to corsets and also today (I wore one when I had back surgery and luckily I was skinny but it was insanely inconvenient... also I didn't tighten as much as they do for beauty) today, but when this story is placed they were all used as a form of control and ppl really competed to have the most thin waste, and women were practically incapacitated - swooning is not a natural thing for women, it's due to tight corsets -The culture was so toxic that many women got sick too.

I saw some comments stating that it was the Villainess' fault for her treatment being so bad but if you really looked at the story, the only reason she became a villain was because of the way people treated her. She, just like the brothers and the father, distanced herself and eventually obviously an immature girl, hiding away her emotions will need a way to vent that so she became the bad guy everyone saw her as.
I'm very interested on how they're going to incorporate romance into this. Viola still seems to me like a little girl and the Duke seems like he doesn't really care about her that much. I honestly think she needs to improve so much and the Duke needs to open his heart which is something I doubt will happen.
It's extremely sad that her family can only accept her when she turns into a completely different person. It's annoying how they put it on her that she was mentally unstable and always tried to commit suicide especially since the cause was due to neglect, abuse: verbal, mental and physical, and some sort of manipulation.

Honestly this is the best Emperor I've seen in majority of the webtoons and manga I've read. He actually looks old, intimidating and the presence that would make you shut up as soon as he entered the room.
