Honestly, Askin has a valid reason. He seems like a genuinely good person, but og!Charlize was just too much. It’s not that I dislike him as a character, not at all, but at this point, their route just seems unsalvageable, no? As much as I like Aria as a charming sister-in-law for Charlize, Noah is just soooo much better among all the ML candidates so far. Their dynamics are already interesting as is. And they don’t have og!Charlize “baggage” (I can’t come up with a more approriate term atm sorry lol) that’ll be a burden/conflict to their relationship. If the author focuses on developing their relationship, their trope would be even better. I hope the “God” could just revise the clauses and let Charlize live even if the engagement falls through. She doesn’t deserve all these bad things happening to her just because, bruh. Just let her and Askin be friends or acquaintances, have him forgive her IF he ever wants to ‘cause honestly that should be his choice, but don’t force the romance anymore ‘cause it lowkey hurts to read. I know angst is tasty and all (I love angst too, duh) but like, there’s another route that has better potential here, why not take it? It’d be different from how other manhwas typically handle this scenario too, no?

On another note, I’m loving Charlize’s character so far. I really like how Charlize doesn’t just let people walk all over her. It’s been a while since I read about a FL that handles matters like this. Her banters with her brother are also really funny, lol (tbh I saw a panel of that and that’s what made me read this manhwa). I wish her the best whatever she decides to do going forward~

aww this had so much potential, but the last chapters felt rushed and I think there were some stuff that the author was planning to add along the line as conflict (I lowkey got the feeling that the Tooi friend from chap 1 liked Yuyu and thought he’d be relevant somehow lmao) but ended up not tackling. Anyway, I love Yuyu-chan so even though I kinda disliked our ML’s initial attitude, I kept reading. And I’m just glad I did ‘cause this actually ended up being a cute read for me.
