Really it depends on the person. It's advised to get your eyes checked and prescription updated annually but if your eyesight isn't getting progressively worse then you might not need it. I've needed glasses since I was 3, I'm 22 now, and my prescription gets stronger every year. Also where I live (America) most places require a valid prescription to purchase contacts/glasses and my prescription always expires after a year. On the other hand, my brother's eyesight gets noticeably worse every 3 or so years. So he doesn't update his prescription as often (he wears glasses).
My insurance doesn't cover eye care so I have to pay everything out of pocket. I don't know how much they used to cost but I've never spent less than $70 on glasses. And that's just the cost of the frames. Due to my prescription, lenses cost $150 or more. I could pay less for lower quality lenses but then lenses would be outrageously thick. I can easily find the contacts I need at $60 for a year supply.
Thanks to a certain Harlequin manga I found one word that's bothers me BIG time: Darling.
Yeah I know stupid, ┗( T﹏T ')┛ but some how it rubs me the wrong way. If the MC's get the pet name Darling in another language (Spanish, Italian, etc.) it doesn't bother me.

In the manga there's some gems that go better on a brooch rather than a ring and the guy claims the girl gets the best.
But personally I'd prefer simple gold/ silver band and if it must have a gem a small ruby, sapphire, or amber. that or some fun/ cute design that's not over the top.
And no I don't want Diamond, if I was to get a diamond... glass would be better (unless I use the diamond for self defense ^^)
When I got married, my husband and I went and bought a really awesome looking chair from the 50s instead of rings. So we don't have wedding rings, we have a wedding chair! And I am good with that because I don't do jewelry.

If the MC could be Female and strong {not a female ruled world} (kind of like those Guy ones) where she gets sucked into another world (only found one so far { http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/isekai_de_kuro_no_iyashi_te_tte_yobarete_imasu/ } ... and another one I tried to forget... luckily I don't remember the name but she and miss beautiful were summoned together, and she was 'hidden' from public but used....*sigh*) where the girl doesn't get exposed in little to no smut or ecchi scenes (sometimes it will happen, but the habit....*shiver* is just annoying for me)
Quite frankly I wanna see RPG guys as her romance possible and maybe she ends up with multiple husbands or guy slaves (who may not like the idea of a female master till they get to know her more {pretty easy plot here... just saying}) no those guys don't need to be in speedos.
I'd love to see guys with wolf or tiger ears and tail, male elves, possible dragons for lovers, maybe a good bulky human with a great chest XD and Great persona! Maybe one persona for everyone's tastes like one guy is sugar sweet, another guy candidate is tsundere, etc.
and an openish ending on who she gets with would be awesome so we can imagine her with our favorite character (cause who I love, won't be what some one else will like)
