it def does good in some departments but in others it’s like that was not needed??? the scene where that pedo was looking out at the lake and explaining his side of the story, like no dude ur attracted to ur underage son that’s fucked like we did not need that scene to get his side. also the scene with how the school just cheered her on in the assembly felt very unrealistic. and yes being groomed is a very realistic issue in the community but the way their relationship was portrayed was very iffy. the incest issue with the middle schooler as well, like it would’ve been so easy to just have made his lover a classmate why his cousin? ik it’s not a big detail but it’s such a negative stereotype so i did feel mad a bit. I definitely did cry tho in scenes where he broke down, overall good ig but could’ve been approached better when dealing with such heavy topics like this
