but I understand his lore, my parents fought over custody just to both give me up anyway lmao whatever man, I get him though been through real fucked up situations where I’ve been hurt and hurt people but karma kicked my ass so hopefully we see him reflect properly and genuinely apologise for his behaviour. Pretty sure other alpha likes him too just in denial and also hates his attitude lol looks like many conversations are to be had! Bring on the new season (๑•ㅂ•)و
For a story solely based on rape, torture, gang rape and other forms of violence how does anyone think anything could be redeemable? Like I’m honestly so concerned and confused how this has that high a rating?
Literally! Like what the fuck? I only read these things because I just pray for the victim to fucking torture and kill them both! I don’t understand why people love to make this shit!
But if you want to read sweet ones I’d definitely recommend honey bear and red string game, they are so cute! There’s no abuse in them!
This backstory just feels so crappy like why is it always rape/an excuse for rape/some way to make characters rape ahhhh I’m so fed up with rape rape rape!!!!! Then worse when they try to excuse the rape somehow (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Unfortunately a very common thing in omega verses, and w this historical theme its even more so, but it should not be excused really, and I dont see it being excused in the manhwa rather its been normalized because of the situation they were in (lunas being bought by sols) but nonetheless, it does get mentally draining to read (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

The hope seems to be that the author will turn him into a yearner. But true yearning is usually portrayed as something beautiful because it comes from someone who loves deeply, madly and passionately. A true yearner cares for the person they love even before they have the chance to be with them. They yearn before the relationship begins, during and even long after it ends.
He on the other hand is a mobster and a rapist who has consistently stepped on everyone and everything to get what he wants. Turning him into a pathetic yearner after he has already caused so much harm would only make narrative sense if the story's end goal were to show that he does not get the relationship he wants. However I doubt that will be the case.
Based on the author's previous work, they seem to enjoy the "opposites attract" dynamic, so I think the two characters will most likely end up together. If that happens, it undermines the purpose of making him a pathetic yearner because his longing ultimately becomes another step toward rewarding him with the relationship rather than forcing him to live with the consequences of his actions.
