Manga title? I can't remember if the pov was from the little kid or the caretaker (I think it was in 3rd pov?) But basically the boy was treated really terribly by basically everyone, and then met the mc(?) Who rescued him and basically adopted him. (there might have been a romance subplot with the mc and someone else) but I remember that the main plot was about family dynamics
I think its so messed up that uploaders get to update manga the day/week/month that the author releases a chapter. There's so many old Mangas people haven't translated yet why can't we just wait a year after a work is finished to post onto here?? That's why these sites are closing down one by one and one day we'll have nothing left. If people weren't so greedy we could have nice things.
I've been reading manga since I was nine and started reading online when I was 10. Mangareader, mangahere, mangago helped get me through the absolute worst times in my life. I used to spend 8 hours a day almost every day on this site. I now average 2 hours because I'm in a better place. The thought of not being able to read manga anymore is pretty crushing to me as is to lose this database. Such a large portion of my life lies here. We get everything here... for free. Completely free. I wish people treasured that fact more.
Dojae is so similar to me in so many ways (I can relate better to others but I also kinda trained myself to be able to) but fr this manga did SOOOOOOO GOOD on the autism representation. The only complaint I have is the "I don't feel emotions bit" we do feel emotions, usually stronger than other people too, as is shown by dojaes obsession and how he gets physically ill when he feels negative emotions (same bestie same). It just doesn't manifest how other people expect and we're more selective on where we put them. Also the calling a third party bit was So fucking real. I swear this author experienced this shit first hand because it's SO REALISTIC AHHHHH
