This is one of those stories that really gets you emotionally attached to the characters and i especially love how the author pays so much attention to the changing expressions for every character. I read for your love years ago when I’d just started reading bl which is also why this author is so dear to me personally
The author could have used the mcs wing getting cut off as a major shift in the story but he got his wing back and nothing really happened in the end and the only thing that changed was the mc getting a weapon. Like I’m not shitting on the pacing but him losing his wing was not treated with nearly as much gravity as the situation deserved. And because of that I feel like the story just continues on being kind of flat with only the monster situation giving it any depth. Shit just happens and gets resolved with nothing to show for it in terms of development. Don’t get me wrong tho I do still enjoy it lol
