Well depends on the convo, first if you really don't want to even be apart of the conversation. Make a loophole. For example:
"Hey how you doing? Did you hear about my new game!?!"
'Hi! And no I didnt'
"Omg it's so cool, you wanna hear about it?"
'Well what's it called?'
"Blah blah"
'Mhm, when did you get it?'
Something like this, where you just ma...... reply
