Maybe older twin "ciel" actually was poisoning his brother, not so that he could have the attention of their parents, but to make ciel dependent on him.... but idk so.....
A 7-year-old kid? I doubt that was the case because he wouldn't be able to obtain poison from outside, or order someone from the mansion to get it for him. He was too young, without a title, and still under surveillance of his parents and servants. I think it is impossible for him to have poisoned his younger brother without anyone finding out
I can't believe so many people are thinking that, he was only 7 years old. How would a 7 year old kid know how to poison someone? I'm sure he loved both his parents and his twin brother very much.
