The ending feels like the manga got cancelled... Like the mangaka was supposed to have a dozen or more chapters explaining Adachi's history and family, and then resolving all the romance threads, but instead got a single chapter to wrap it all up. The fact that Adachi just disappears mid-way through the ending without any sort of goodbye, never to be seen again with the whole group was so incredibly lame.
