Is anime worth it or is it just a visual novel version
From what I heard the animation is crazy
I came here from the anime. It is crazyyyyy. Kinda weird and a lot of cgi, but in this era of mass produced isekai anime I am HOOKED on this original animation, it is amazing that it's different!! Also the characters are all prettyyyyyyyy. And the stupid faces are to die for laughing
Some people seem to like it. I find the exclusive use of poor cgi backgrounds/environments to be distracting and overused. The characters are drawn well but they can't actually interact with the environment their in, since its not drawn like they are. So you get weird moments where wind is blowing MC's hair but the leaves in the trees don't move.
I think I liked that it's different and weird. I would say artistic in a provocative way. Not a style I would normally like. But I think it distinguishes it from the rest? Makes it special?
You forgot to mention that many characters has shiny magical eyes with iris looking like animated gems. It takes time to get used to and is, initially, distracting in my opinion and, once you get used to it, it looks cool in the action scenes.
The second I saw that guy, who was a soldier, say that he would make it back to his wife and unborn child, I knew it was over for him.
