Going by the timeline of both stories, passion starts way before raga and it would add to this story to know the other one
If you are not motivated about reading Passion. You can just get spoilers of Xinlu's character and crazy antics in Passion and connect the dots.. Raga happens right after the particular incident in Passion.
I have forgotten the chapters Xinlu is present but he is there most of season 1, met MC a bit in some seasons and the current is important like chapter 130-135? because that is the time that paticular incident happens thus explaining his character which links to the 1st chapter of Raga.
