Garam is more complex. It’s rare for me to shit on an uke, but… damn. His trust issues with Jaehyuk are completely understandable at first, then quickly became unreasonable when Jaehyuk shows time and again that he’s a stable, loving partner. Somehow, this flaw also makes me love Garam. Definitely a double edged sword.
I wish Garam’s redemption arc had been explored more than one chapter of him running to Jaehyuk only because he thought he was going abroad. Unfortunately, I could tell the author was being pressured with chapters. The background and side (sometimes, even the main) characters really suffered with the rushed art. The stick figure parents… Lord. All that to say, I really enjoyed this!
Cute and simple read. Good chasing arc, but the feeling goes away fast. Half of the story is spent in high school. More of it should have been dedicated to the aftermath of the misunderstanding. Kang felt bland. I loved Juheon!
The original art style reminded me of Sign, which I absolutely love. Nothing wrong with the new art style, but I preferred the old one and got used to it (I mean, it’s on the cover, too…) so this change threw me for a loop. Clickbait?! Anyway, the seme looks like a completely new character. I don’t know if I can continue it. I miss the OGs!
A marriage proposal isn’t fixing shit. Oh my god. I give up on hoping for a redemption arc. And, I guess Jaekyung exposing Kim Dan to Heesung will never be addressed, either! At this point, I’m just hoping to see Kim Dan have a shred of happiness.

To think this is the most thoughtful, selfless action Jaekyung has done for Kim Dan in 80 chapters… 80 chapters! Holy shit. I don’t think this guy can redeem himself. He’s just acted so grossly and terribly and Kim Dan hasn’t even truly confronted Jaekyung for how he treated him. Perhaps, that’s why I feel so unfulfilled with this redemption arc. I suppose it’s a “slow burn”, so we’ll see if this redemption arc gets any better.
Buddy, YOU are the problem. YOU are the source of his stress. Why bring him back? Where’s the so-called treatment he’s supposed to go through? What’s the difference?! Kim Dan deserves the world AND to be able to punch Jaekyung in the face (just once, please, pretty please).
A good, romantic slow-burn. The issues are minimal, the characters are mature, and the art (the character design for Jigu is stunning) is amazing! A sweet, fluffy gem.
