I'd rather choose Yamaken because I'd love being taken care and appreciated. Haru to Mizutani, it's like taking care of a childish grown man.
But I'm not Mizutani, she's all capable and serious, and will hardly ever change (that side of hers). So I think for Mizutani's case, Haru would be most compatible. He's capable career-worst, and add fun like flavors to her life. He changed her after all, and together they grew splendidly.

I think the angel is associated with the pure-hearted and/or noble blood. In the story, the angel only kisses Madeth and Perseus.

The angel doesn't kiss Lavlan because he has impure thoughts about his friend (and perhaps because he was stained with the blood of war/personal ambition). But the angel doesn't disappear from Lavlan's sight, perhaps because he is capable enough to become king, and a good one, too.

The angel disappears in the presence of impure beings - like the promiscuous late Queen or the ambitious servant of Perseus.

Also, why can some people see the angel, and others cannot? What's the angel's role?

This is my theory:

1. People who can see angels are living proof that they exist.

2. Angels act as guardians of the castle, and they are supportive of the pure-hearted and/or noble blood. Angels also can be used for propaganda, too - as in, the rulers can claim that they are chosen by angels, thus receive support from the people - whether or not they are actually kissed by one.

3. However, the appearance of Lavlan has changed everything. First, he is neither of noble blood nor is pure-hearted. Second, despite all that, he is a capable man/ruler, from fighting in battles to managing a country. Third, he actually ruled the country efficiently, and thus got huge support from his people - EVEN WITHOUT THE ANGELS' SUPPORT/KISS. Fourth, meanwhile both Macdeth and Perseus, despite receiving the angels' support, were not capable of running a country - AND THUS DID NOT RECEIVE THE PEOPLE'S SUPPORT.

4. As indicated in the story, in Lavlan's monologue, the angels' way of thinking does not necessarily agree with human beings'. The same analogy goes for receiving an angel's kiss: just because what the angel think is good, doesn't mean it'll be good for the country & its people.
And Lavlan's being symbolizes just that.

5. That is why, the angels' "disappearance" after Lavlan's passing means: 1) there is no living proof of angels anymore, and 2) even if there are angels, their existence is no longer as significant as before "the Lavlan".

My theory:

The four of them (Tanjirou, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke) lived together in Tanjirou's house, until at some point, some of them decided to start their own family -- have a wife, have kids -- and went their own way.

It must have started with Zenitsu insisted on marrying Nezuko, and despite her scars (caused by Tanjirou) Zenitsu still loved her and wanted to take care of her for life. (Not to mention he's Nezuko's type, too: a Hisha)

Then, Tanjirou also started thinking about having his own family, and Kanao came to mind. It could be because she's his type (a Shiba Inu that's like Lily of the Valley) or he felt guilty for scarring her (the chest stab when he became a demon).

At last, Inosuke started to wonder if family is "a snack" (no, Inosuke, but it gives you good "meals"). Perhaps he met Aoi in Tanjirou's wedding with Kanao, and without using much brain power, decided that he'd marry whomever makes him food all the time. But before he actually got married, Inosuke took a lot of time to figure out how to treat females and sort out his feelings and past hurts.

And because Inosuke was the last one to get married (yes, late bloomer), his children would probably have big year gap from the former two couples'. With time, the gap between their descendants' families (Tanjirou's & Zenitsu's vs. Inosuke's) grew -- not to mention they didn't have social media, plus wars, plus urbanization, etc. -- and the descendants became unaware of each other's existence.

I'd like to think that even though Inosuke's descendant is not directly hanging with Tanjirou's and Zenitsu's, they are bound to be connected in one way or another -- as fate or karma, because their past (ancestral) connections ran deep, intertwining with one another.

Bonus theory: Remember the group photo of the original gang? Inosuke was wearing the wild boar mask -- how the hell can Kamados and Agatsumas tell it's THE Hashibira?? Tch tch

There's the anime series season 1, the Mugen Train Arc movie coming out this October, a light novel about the Kamaboko squad with illustrations from Gotouge-sensei, and another light novel focusing on the Wind Pillar coming out soon-ish (I wish we have a light novel for Giyuu... but we've had Tomioka Giyuu Gaiden, so)...

What else from Gotouge and ufotable studio did I miss? How many light novels with sensei's approval and illustrations are there?

Let's not forget about the games too, and I definitely love the Kimetsu Radio series! (▰˘◡˘▰)
