Never finished reading this so I came back to try again. Made it to the end this time. There were some cute moments. But I feel very unfulfilled with the way the plot points played out and how the ending was. It wasn’t very satisfying. Even the character arc with Sara just felt sad, the way she never truly extended any affection at all to her son the way her partner would’ve wanted it. For some reason I expected her to have at least one revelation, but she had like half of one lmao what a shitty alien mother. And then the main relationship, I hate time gaps like that and then it didn’t even feel like a good climax when they met again lol. Overall I felt like things were lacking and rushed, but it was unique.
