Part 5 introduced another guy with zombie healing magic where he create a womb inside mc: and yes got r@pe by him too cause the the guy want to reproduce and make mc preggo. Part 6, current time MLbis missing or dead (again) mc ran away found his old crew and is staying with them in their new compound. Oh and milk comes out ofnhis chest now....

Why does it feel like bl authors (even in an apocalyptic world setting, which should be easy), literally don't know how to write traumatizing scenarios without it involving rape. It's like the author themselves doesn't know weather they should frame it as it is (awful) or some twisted kink to get off to, because that's how it feels. :l

Man i wish i know the answer to that lol. As a gay men myself seeing all these r@pe can be unsettling. Like dont get me wrong i know how to seperate fiction from reality and i dont think anyone who enjoy this genre has any real malice. But at some point i do want an actual story/plot to be happening yanno. I excaped yaoi manga to come to BL manwha cause theres too much of r@pe and dubious consent going on expecially towards the younger looking characters with older age gap (shota), but manwhas are full of it too lol so now i occasionally read MxM books and novels instead when i felt like it got to much.... and as you say, i find it funny that they fumble the "zombies" genre like this. If the only shock factor they have is r@pe then i guess the author is not that good at their job lol ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Same for myself. I feel like nowadays it's easier to find a manga that doesn't have SA in comparison to manwha, maybe it's just the homepage though. (art is always carrying these stories and tends to push the popularity, because at least from what I've witnessed the majority of people aren't enjoying this trend. *Not just in bl genre either)
but tbh I do truly find it weird when authors have a somewhat solid plot device and still choose to use sex (especially non consensually) as "story development". It's one thing if it's smut oriented, but a lottt of the time it just feels like authors don't understand or know how to move a story forward (or develop a relationship/character) without adding some form of SA and calling it a bonding experience.
This is a major reason why I went back to novels for the last two years, only reading other stuff here and there, but honestly. I might dip and go back to my novels haha, it's hard finding gems because whenever I ask for recommendations they all have SA in them too (can separate reality from fiction, but sometimes it can still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, mostly when it feels random and unnecessary) sigh .
