i actually hate that they're forcing this "relationship"..as a grown adult, 37 y/o, you should be HARD denying her confession. Not to say widowed people can't find love but seriously? It feels like even if the ML had any sort of substance of a character or a good story, I would still feel the need to say the the FL is better off on her own. Like I usually let it play out but now whenever I see the Ronan (?), I don't feel any connection to his character or for the potential relationship with FL
Honestly, the emperor isn't that annoying that the comments are making him out to be, both show and comic. I think the show is a bit better as to it gets into the insight of why the emperor behaves this way. I think the comic doesn't do it justice but it's still in the early stage o((*^▽^*))o

I don't like the ML too much but he has a pessimistic (or nihilistic) view of humans. He's practically generalizing when he, himself isn't any better. He's more like *SOME* of the humans he talks/hates about. He ignorant due to being holed up in the same place as time passes by. And I can sorta understand living for so long, you've seen it all but he really hasn't seen it "all". Hopefully as the story goes on, we see that change in these backstory chapters. Still hate him tho LOL
The fact that ber family ruined HER big day is so vile. I don't even blame Richard for this all that much, just Courtney's leech of a family. They don't even see their daughter as part of her family, just some money bank..I hope she takes the her nephew and leave her family in the dust, because they are so evil. Without Courtney, they wouldn't even BE in the royal ballroom, let alone be nobles.
I love the story but it feels like the fl is sorta flat. Like I get she was an abused child throughout most of her life but have some confidence in yourself!! I hope in the next chapter she gets through her trauma with the twins
Realistically, this guy's logic makes no sense because you can only get away with something like this for so long. His little brother is right. It's all out of pure jealousy and him being spoiled to the point he's never had to deal with the consequences of his own actions. I just feel bad for the little brother and the family head bc he betrayed their trust, thus putting their family is a difficult position. It's not because the head is weak, but Jurion is weak mentally and emotionally which seems like a common theme with a lot of the high rankers. Jurion does not care for his family's legacy. He only cares for himself and only himself and he's scaring his brother into his dick and weird ideas
