This was so well-written but it lacked catharsis and closure.

The translation here is super scuffed. Do yourself a favour and read it elsewhere.
They should add "slice of life" to the genre because this feels so drawn out and repetitive.

That's some shade on slice of life, but I agree.
Passion started out strong but, after 60 chapters, I can safely say this was a waste of time. The conflict between Ilay and Xinglu felt incredibly contrived, and I couldn't believe how juvenile the writing was when Xinglu started losing his shit and asking Tae who he liked the most.
Tae being a good luck charm came out of the left field, and it so out of place after 40 chapters of Tae/Ilay/Xinglu's high schooler interactions.
Read this if you have time to kill. The smutty segments are scarce, not to mention bland.
Because the author ruined it , novel was much better regardless of that its better than many bl airing today considering its very old
