Okay but have you tried reading the last 2 chapters while listening to I won't give up by Jason Marz and Fix You by coldplay? That sh*t hurted....
It's a yaoi manga about this guy with a lot of luck and because of that, someone needs to balance it out. he gets a blank card in the mail and throws it away. then the god of calamity appears, giving him some bad luck. little by little they grow accustomed to each other and the god of calamity starts to fall for him, so he starts to do housekeeping and cooking meals, all while the human is trying not to fall for him.
eventually, the god of calamity is fired from his position because his powers are not working and is replaced by the god of fortune.
does someone know which one this one is?

I was talking to my sister about something on the sofa in our living room, my back was to the arm-rest of the sofa. Our apartment restroom is right next to our living room. Our conversation ended, she got up to go to the restroom, keep in mind that my back is to the armrest and behind me in the entrance to the restroom. I have 2 windows open on my computer one, on a youtube video about Reddit stories, the other on p**nhub (I was watching the titan's bride).
when she passes me to go to the restroom I have the youtube video window open. as soon as she closes the door, I open the other window... I hear the door open but it is too late to close the window. I am awkwardly looking at her asking "what happened? did you forget something?" while my screen is on full display. At this point, I am unsure whether or not my sister saw my tab or didn't, cuz I had the video playing, but it was not on full screen, just zoomed in.
I'm hoping that due to her sight she wasn't able to see what was on my computer, but I kind of know for a fact that she probably did see the screen cuz my eyesight is worse than hers and I know I would have been able to see it.
I am embarrassed and don't know what to do rn. I'm just going to sleep this off and pretend it never happened. pls help....
I honestly, hate when people say that the twins should act like adults because they are like 20-something years old. Keep in mind that they died when they were teens and while in their still teenage minds were in an abusivve household. What ya'll seem to FORGET is that they were ABUSED when they were reincarnated, they were not loved or cherished. They could only DEPEND on each other because they knew that they would not lie or hurt each other. I'm pretty sure that anyone that went through both physical and mental abuse would be "naive" and be unable to trust many people, especially those that abandoned them. They minds are still on survival mode because there is no trust that can be forged into this relationship. They are not in communication with the thing that are going around them becausee no one tell them anything. Of course they are going to distrust those that have not told them anything about what is going on.
And second, with everything that went on in the story, I dont think that the author is painting them as naive "kids." They are making it look like people with trauma. They are obviously going to trust someone that is fully comunicating what is happening over someone that keeps hiding the truth. Therefore they are trusting the other kid over their "dad." ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I still do not think they should trust a stranger who suddenly appears, telling them the story. Also they didn't find it suspicious that the father of the kid is being nice to them. Being traumatized should be the reason why they should not trust that fast. Even the brothers have tried their best to gain their trust but they easily gives it to a kid for what?
As I stated before, they are ADULTS with TRAUMA. The trauma that I am talking about is the fact that they were ABANDONED and ABUSED, not the trust issues.
Yes, YOU would find the father suspicious, but many people with trauma and mental scars will not, again, because of the toxic environment in which they grew up in. did you notice that in chapter 24, the father is the ONLY noble that has been courteous with them? in this whole manhwa, no one has ever respected them or treated them fairly. They have just "escaped" a toxic environment and everyone around them has treated them like scum. (even the maids, until they were corrected) and the twins also mention SEVERAL times in these chapters that their SIBLINGS knew of their existence, but still refused to do anything to help them. They are obviously not going to trust people that have already abandoned them once, even if they are treated nicely, because of their initial betrayal.
Also, they don't know that the brother is basically sacrificing his life to protect them. AGAIN, because of the LACK OF COMMUNICATION. this is a form of irony that the author is using, it is something called dramatic irony, where the audience knows what is going on, but the characters do not.

I agree with what you said but except that they are so easily to manipulate by a kid. Imagine being manipulated by a 10 year old kid when they're actually 23 years old. And Abuse isn't suppose to make them stupid. It's supposed to make them cautious. You would expect them to have doubts about that duke being kind to them after an Assassination attempt but NO. The author needs to lower their intelligence for the sake of drama. Also calm down, you don't need to be aggressive while speaking out your opinion.
Sorry, if you think that I came off as aggressive. I only capitalized the words that I thought needed emphasis, in order to get my point across. I will now refute your evidence, I will try not to sound aggressive(?) by not capitalizing any words from here on out.
You mention how they are so easily manipulated by a 10-year-old when they are 23-years-old. To this, I say that in many situations, in regards to abusive relationships and toxic environments, people tend to fall in the same cycle, over and over again. Yeah, you can say that "they are easily manipulated," but it is not because they are "stupid," they are like that because they have fallen into a cycle where the only thing they know is that someone is respecting them and that is the only kindness they are shown, so they will easily trust this person, who has given no reason to mistrust.
You also mention the assassination attempt but fail to acknowledge that the emperor himself has deemed this individual as safe for the twins to interact with. (keep in mind that what I am arguing is that people should take into consideration their past before judging their actions) In this, I feel that the twins are giving the emperor plenty of trust by allowing him to decided their friendships. Again, they have not been given any reason to distrust an emperor approved individual that has treated them kindly. Even after the assassination issue, the emperor and the siblings still approve of the relationship between the kids. If anything them as "adults" should be cautious about who they let into the castle.
Now it might be frustrating for you to understand how they feel and why they act a certain way. But this happens in real life all the time. This is why many people forgive their abusers time and time again. You must keep in mind that this is not something people get over with in a month's time. It takes years, for someone to fall out of that cycle. And I believe that the twins are making a steady and slow process to fall out of it by giving their siblings a chance even with the lack of comunication.
No there's no need to apologise because you're just passionate about your favorite story. It's nice how you write long paragraphs to explain it to me. I actually get your point now because of your patience. I realized that it's not just the twins fault. I'm just a little disappointed that they didn't get suspicious when the kid suddenly brings up about the empress when they're just supposed to have a good time. It makes me sad that they're going to realize they got fooled again later on. Also that misunderstanding is going to drag for so long because of lack of communication in both sides. The twins who do not trust the emperor (which is understandable because they have reasons for it) and the emperor who can't tell them their mother forced him (because he believes that they are just children).
I also understand why you feel that way, I sometimes feel frustrated with the fact that they are going be betrayed too. That's why I try to read this story (and many others) taking into consideration what has happened to the characters before I judge the author and the plot of the story.
I don't like the lack of communication between the emperor, siblings, and the twins, but, as you said, most of it is because the emperor thinks that they are children.
