What a refreshing read, the amount of communication and consent is so good. I love how open they get with each other and how honest they are, none of the drama from being petty and dishonest, no cheating, just two silly guys being in love and crushing on each other. Very sweet

My personal favorites are enemies to friends to lovers, fake dating, truth or dare and taboo relationships; preferably consensual because consent is sexy.

I love the childhood friends to lovers but mostly only when they secretly have crushes on eachother since kids but never told eachother and ofc consensual

Best friends to lovers (this happens for so many side couples and it’s very cute, it’s like they see their other friend (mc) falling in love with another person and they support him and his lover and somewhere along the lines they also fall in love)

Love triangles get kind of annoying or just sad.
