Such a long build up of the story over the years for the last chapter to be a 2 month jump right after they're finally on the same page. I'm genuinely disappointed. It's so rushed.
Almost 100 chapters later and I FINALLY get to see this man cry
2-3 years into the novel being adapted and we are only at the part where layla gets hit by the car lol. I feel like this is going to be a decade long project, stay strong van ji!
Wilhelmina is *such* an interesting character, I love everything about her, most of all her wit. I think this is the first time I've genuinely been a bit annoyed at the prospect of a romance for an mc in a reincarnation manhwa even though that's what I was looking forward to in the beginning lol! At this point I don't give two shits about an ml, I'm far more concerned about what's going to happen between wilhelmina and the duchess!
"tHaT'S wHy I'm PuTtInG mYsElF tHrOuGh ThIs HeLl" man, shut the fuck up, valery
When showing the routine they got into, my brain jumped to the montage song from Team America lmao
"We're gonna need a montaaaage!"
If I were Asil right now, I'd just straight up jump off that balcony, I'm so tired of Valery's shit oml
The hentai anatomy is not what I was expecting to see in this oml lol
I can't take valery seriously when everytime we get a front facing view of his face all I can think about is that big ass neanderthal forehead of his lmao
I think jk proposing to call the debt paid if kim dan helps him with the next two matches is probably a smart move. It's guaranteed to get him to agree to come with him to seoul this time which would ensure that dan actually gets treated for his condition properly while also giving jk more time with him to right his wrongs and hopefully fix their relationship. Personally, I like where this is going.
It's clear there are way too many people in these comments that need to simply stop reading stories like this and stick to slice of life bl's..
Idc what anyone says, I'm ready to eat this backstory up ( ̄▽ ̄)
Some of these comments have me wondering if we've been reading the same story because what do you meeean you thought he was a green flag and this is a shock?? The clues we've been left as to what kind of person guwon is haven't exactly been subtle, not to mention the full reveal was when guwon beat that man to death in front of the townspeople, not this.
I feel bad thinking this because maybe it'll become more main plot relevant later, but I just *cannot* bring myself to care about the side plot with the story kyuho worked on at his internship. Like it feels like it's dragging the story because there's a bit too much focus on it.
I've been checking in on Mingwa's twitter every week since the hiatus started to see if she's posted any crumb of information either on how her recovery is going or any updates to the next chapter release and recently she said she was working hard on her save manuscript. I take that to mean she's doing better and it probably really will be mid July before the hiatus is over, which was her latest estimation in the hiatus notice. I'm still frothing at the mouth for this next chapter lol but I'm glad it seems she's doing well.
I can't help but focus on how bonkers korean law is, it makes no damn sense lol
I just picked this up today and read it all, and now I'm just finding out in the comments that it's been discontinued?! And it's been two years?? Nuuuuuu I'm off to find the novel, this story is too good to let go of!
I'm in love with this art style, it's so beautiful
I really hope she doesn't fold to his whims immediately when he inevitably comes knocking later that night
