I’m glad you commented this I felt the same! I absolutely loved the story, but something felt off, and I came to the conclusion that there wasn’t much plot/character development and it was just chapters of those twos being absolutely in love with each other lol.
i ALWAYS come back to this! the intimacy, the communication, the feelings. its phenomenal. the authors ability to show emotion through their art is incredible. a lot of BL lacks intimacy and emotion outside of just smut for smut and this nails it perfectly.
liked the story but the nonconsentual sex while the MC was drunk annoyed me so dnf’d

my issue with this is not what people tend to dislike about the story (Chunwoo not being able to commit and so called “cheating” on Ho-In in the last chapters) its with how rushed it felt and how the side stores sort of dragged on. in my opinion, the side stories should have just been a part of the main story and then 20 chapters of Ho-In’s friends story.
not gonna lie, i even think that chunwoo doesnt love ho-in that much as he loved taesoo
i don’t think he loved him as much as he did taesoo at the end of the MAIN story. but throughout the side stories you can see how much he gave himself to Ho-In. regardless, the story dragged smh

okay, we all love a historical romance but lets be fr rn; this is not good dropped at ch67. i tried and couldn’t even make it through to the end. how many misunderstandings and miscommunication can one person take it gets to a point, seriously.

the body proportions are crazy?? they look like titans omg small head, wide blocky body smh but the story is decent and did he squirt in him at the end? a lot going on
