I can understand Jaeyi hating his sibling. It seems to me that the brother used being sick to manipulate people into isolating Jaeyi or to compare them and their achievements. I hope and really am praying that Ideum can place a firm boundary between him and the brother not for Jaeyi but for himself because he doesn’t deserve to be someone’s unknowing participant in whatever twisted thing he has going on.
