Is this manga suffering from character inflation? Yeah. But god damn it’s a great read if you let go of all sanity and reason! You truly have to embrace the “what the hell, sure” attitude to read this…
So I’ve now read all 45 chapters available and honestly the #1 thing I’m most upset about is the girls character assassination… Were presented with a very depressing situation with a compelling arc but then the author decides to twist her albeit selfish reasons for getting close to yumma to being full blown attention seeking when she could’ve been so much more! Yes, the hints of her darker side were there, but relative to her story, of course she would?!!? Idk… I just always get wound up when a female character is twisted in a way so unconnected to her story just because of the genre or cuz the author couldn’t think of a better twist…
Anyways I’m still pissed off at the twin thing it should just been the childhood promise and not genuine blood relation wouldn’t make Mao more compelling too like him learning through yumma ti trust more than blood connections then going out to fight for their future would’ve been way more cooler but oh well!

Gosh… what a great ending for both Immo and The Nameless Boy. I’m so glad I could see their beginnings and end and I wish nothing but happiness for the mangaka for giving us this story. I’ll miss it but this ending is so beautiful.
