Now that's just weird and so unlikely, he didn't even know how to get to the farm and got a letter from the uncle himself, if not he wouldn't have come. Also, he does changes personality but he does remember what happens aside from that scene from the past which honestly feels like he does remember and just doesn't understand his parents' reaction.
