It’s not that good, it had potential in the beginning tho, the red mansion reminds me of kowloon walled city a bit
It did but it just went no where the concept of is cool tho fs but from the few chapters I read nothing is moving along it’s just the mc getting beat up

it’s realistic for his character but that doesn’t make him a good person lmfao. he’s trying to take control of her freedom when she never really has had any her entire life. it doesn’t matter how much he loves her, he has no right to be behaving the way he does. not saying the ml is an angel but this guy is honestly more annoying.

Genuinely didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. I love all the characters and seeing actual growth and change through the plot is refreshing compared to a lot of other story’s. I actually do recommend this manga.
Also really appreciate that’s there’s official translations. Fan translations are usually hard to read tbh

Honestly the drama in THIS story is good but if you look deeper into it its pretty poorly done, like taeju got lima syndrome before he could treat euihyun like a human being. Feels like avg growth to me but maybe ive read way more of this storytype, akabeko had a story that reminded me of this. Cant remember the name anymore shin something

There's an official alternative story to this one where the guard successfully saves her from being kidnapped to the island and he's the male lead there, I think
