like I just realized it's been how many chapters already, but I still don't get the workings of their world. Like ok the women get to choose their males to do mana exchanges. WTF IS THE MANA EVEN FOR AND WHY IS IT SO SOUGHT OUT AND STATUS BASED???? And Aivan is in the military and got deployed FOR WHAT??? And now he aivan all of sudden mentions taxes so is that why he has a harem of women for the tax deductions or something??? LIKE IM CONFUSED..... like why make a whole new world and not like focus a bit more on plot
